Javier Vasserot
Founding Partner

Javier was the co-lead the Complex Deals area at PwC
Corporate Finance in Spain.
He has over 20 years experience in client advice,
mainly focusing on M&A. He has been deeply
involved from the beginning in the restructuring
process of the toll-roads sector in Spain, also advising
funds in connection with the acquisition of toll-roads’
debt.
Prior to joining PwC, Javier has been part of some of
the leading law firms in Spain (Uría, Linklaters, DLA
Piper) and most recently he was the Managing
Partner of Olswang in Spain as well as a member of its
International Executive Committee.
Javier is recognized since 2009 as one of the leading
M&A, Projects and Restructuring lawyers in Spain by
legal directories such as Chambers and Legal 500.
Javier holds a Law degree and also a Business
Administration degree (in both cases in ICADE) and
is a Lecturer at ICADE, Escuela Superior de
Ingenieros Industriales de Madrid and Centro de
Estudios Garrigues.

Diego Abellán
Founding Partner

Diego was the head of Debt and Capital Advisory and
co-led the Complex Deals area at PwC Corporate
Finance in Spain.
He has a long experience in debt fundraising, project
financing and corporate finance.
He is a valuation expert been involved also in the
implementation of Structure Finance Projects in
Spain, Eastern Europe and Latin America.
Prior to joining PwC, he was the head of structure
finance of Grupo San José (Spanish construction
listed firm), with responsibilities in the infrastructure,
energy, and construction sectors.
He holds a Master in Finance from the University of
Illinois, a Master in Arts from Universidad
Complutense and a First Class degree in Economic
and Business Studies from the University of Murcia.
Since 2007, he is a visiting researcher in Accounting
at the Pamplin School of Business Administration
(University of Portland) and has published articles in
international peer review journals.

Antonio Amorrich
Founding Partner

Antonio co-led the Complex Deals area at PwC in
Spain.
He has over 15 years of experience providing
financial assistance to companies mainly focused
on transactions and restructuring.
Joined PwC’s Business Restructuring Team in
October 2008, where he was involved in being
advisor to either debtors or creditors under preinsolvency
or insolvency situations.
He also has relevant experience in developing,
coordinating and implementing wind down and
restructuring plans, as well as in refinancing
processes;
Antonio has acted as receiver appointed by the
Court in relevant Companies.
He has a degree in Business Administration and
a degree in Marketing from the University of
Cordoba.
